Makeblock mBot Ultimate 2.0 10-in-1 Programmable Robotics Kit
mBot Ultimate 2.0 is the advanced robotics kit in the mBot series and targets users 12 years old and above. The Ultimate 2.0 can be built into 10 preset variations (described below). These variations let users either have fun or solve a specific problem in life, giving a preview into robot design. After building, users can control the robot via the Makeblock mobile app, or write program with block-based graphical interface, Ardurino IDE, NodeJS, or Python. For educators of high school and above, this is a great tool for teaching robotics class.
Users can enjoy the building process, training users’ reading comprehension, patience, teamwork and problem solving skills
The mainboard MegaPi is compatible with Ardurino and Rasberry Pi and supports a large variety of other components available on the market
Over 160 components in the package introduce different types of robotic parts
The Ultimate 2.0 robot kit acts as a stepping stone for users to create their own robots using Makeblock’s DIY platform
10 Robotic Constructions
5 vehicle-like robots to demonstrate different motion systems and sensors: Rolling Tank, Self-Balancing Robot, Detecting Robot, Robotic Ant, Robotic Gripper
5 functional robots to demonstrate robotic applications that can perform certain tasks in daily life:
Hydration Station, 3D Capture A, 3D Capture B, Camera Dolly, Ball-Throwing Robot
Easily Teach Robotics
Educators can use this robot kit to introduce the concepts of robotics, different types of components that constitute a robot, and familiarize students with Makeblock’s hardware platform and eventually enable students to design their own robots.
Programming a Robot is Unintimidating
Using the graphical drag-and-drop programming interface in the mBlock 3 software, it is no longer overwhelming to program a robot. Advanced users can also code in Ardurino IDE.
